Yoga Teacher Training in Bali, Indonesia - 2 Years Later

It has now officially been 2 years since I completed my Yoga Teacher Training Certification Course with YogaUnion in Bali, Indonesia. It's really hard to believe that this much time has passed. It feels like only yesterday that I was excitedly telling people I was going to Bali. This trip checked a lot of firsts off my list- first time on a plane, first time travelling alone, and first time off of the North American Continent.

My time in Bali was incredible, and since returning home, my life has completely changed. I now own my own businesses (Yoga With Mikenze which led to Social Media Mikenze and then I found Financial Education with World Financial Group - reach out if you are interested!), rent my own place, and teach several types of classes. I started teaching regular Yoga in my students' homes, but when the pandemic struck, I took my practice online. This helped my business grow, and since I had this new platform, I decided to create new types of classes. My online classes include 1 hour and 1/2 hour Yoga With Mikenze, 45 minute Stretch With Mikenze, 1/2 hour Pelvic Floor Yoga with Mikenze, and Guided Meditation With Mikenze. I also have 1 hour and 1/2 hour Private Yoga Lessons available which can be customized to your goals and needs.

Once the weather got nice in 2020, I started teaching Goat Yoga With Mikenze. I chose this unique class because I am a huge animal lover and I knew it would be a great tourist attraction in PEC. I was correct with this assumption, and though we had rough start in 2021, we continued Goat Yoga With Mikenze for a second season. In 2021 I also started teaching a Yoga class at a PEC Vineyard in order to provide an in person option for the locals close to the winery. This class was also a hit and will most likely continue in 2022 as well.

2 years has passed and I find myself wanting to travel again. As much as I want to see the world, I really want to travel back to Bali. I want to teach a Yoga class for YogaUnion and visit with some of the people I met there. I also would like to explore the island more as I didn't get to do this when I was there in 2019. I am confident this will happen soon, and this time I will spend some time in the cities I visit for stop overs and plan my trip well. I will also teach Yoga in exchange for my stay in the hotel/ guest house. And rest assured, when I do go back, I will share the entire journey with you again!
