This breeder reached out to me wanting to feature her puppies in a class, and I excitedly said yes as I had never even heard of this breed before. I was happy to host a Puppy Yoga With Mikenze with a new breed for our final class of the summer at the Prince Edward County Lavender Farm. The puppies ran around the farm and played amongst the students while we all (some of us) got a good stretch.

Day 7 Pup-mas Activity With YOUR Pup: Teach a New Trick


The holidays are a great time to teach your dog a new trick or reinforce old ones. Tricks like “spin,” “high five,” or “leave it” can be both fun and useful.


Use positive reinforcement:

  • Reward with treats and praise.

  • Keep training sessions short (5-10 minutes).

  • Be patient and consistent.


Learning new skills keeps your dog’s mind sharp and strengthens your connection.

Classes are announced once a littler of puppies between the ages of 7 and 8 weeks is secured. I work with ethical local breeders and provides a fun hour of cuddles, play time, and a good stretch.
